How to use our program

Missions Training Online

This free online missions training prepares Christian missionaries to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Practical guidance is given to aid in church planting, discipleship, and evangelism. Students are instructed to examine their call to missions; to understand the traditional theology of the church; and to develop skills in preaching, teaching, pastoral ministry, and administration. The study of Messianic prophecy and Christian apologetics shows Jesus to be the Messiah and the Bible to be the true word of God.

Rather than going to a seminary, students can down-load the training modules and study in their own home. Students may take the tests provided and receive a certificate when they complete their studies. This program is not accredited, but it offers quality training to prepare missionaries and church leaders for their work. Throughout the courses, there are links to other websites offering resources related to Christianity. Such websites provide free Bible passage search tools, online Bible commentaries, concordances, Bible dictionaries, discipleship training, and many other free resources. This website is provided free in order to further the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) of taking the Gospel around the world.

It is our prayer that this website will benefit both those who have and those who have not received formal ministerial training. The teaching herein is non-denominational and utilizes the Bible as its foundation.

About Us

We are a not for profit organization that trains Christian missionaries to fulfill the Great Commission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all people (see the Holy Bible, Gospel of Matthew, chapter 28, verses 18-20).

WHAT WE BELIEVE

• We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16).
• We believe God so loved the world that He sent His son Jesus, not to judge the world, but that the world would be saved through Him (John 3:16-17).
• We believe Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the life (John 14:6) and true and complete salvation for man is found in Him alone (Acts 4:12).
• We believe if we confess our sin and repent, Jesus is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), giving us new life in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17) and empowering us with the filling of His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).
• We believe that those who put their faith in Christ Jesus are one body in Him (Galatians 3:26,28).
• We believe in the unity of believers. It is our prayer that unity be perfected among the entire body of Christ such as Jesus spoke of in John 17:23, in order that the world may know He was sent by God and that God loved the world even as He loved His son, Jesus.

AN INVITATION

Anyone who turns away from sin and believes in Christ will receive eternal life immediately. Jesus explained that through faith, one is spiritually born again and will not spiritually die (John 3:3,8,16-18). If you have not yet committed your life to following Jesus, you can receive eternal life now. Turn from your sins, and ask God to forgive you (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; Acts 3:19). Pray to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10,13).

The Good News is that God loves all people, and anyone who believes in His Son, Jesus Christ, has received eternal life.

HOW TO USE THIS WEBSITE

First, review Module 1—The Call to Missions—by clicking that tab at the top of the first page. At the first of the module, there is a list of objectives for you to read. To help you learn these objectives, you should answer the questions interspersed throughout the module. You can refer to the answers listed at the end of the course. When you finish studying the course, you should then again answer the questions to see how much you have remembered. Before studying another module, please be sure that you understand all of the answers to the module you studied. You may wish to download Module 1 to your computer or print it for your study (see step 4 below). Each module contains links to other websites that provide free information related to that module. The other websites may also contain links. By following the links, you can get extensive training on the topics covered in the modules. Second, please click the tab TERMS OF USE on the Main Page. By enrolling in our modules, you are agreeing to the Terms of Use. Third, access the list of Modules 2 through 9 by clicking on AVAILABLE COURSES at the top of the main page. To study these modules, you must enroll in our program by registering. The courses are free. We ask that you enroll in the classes so that we may know if we are effectively reaching people with our training. Also, we may be able to provide helpful consultation as you seek to serve as a missionary or as a church leader among people that have not been reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Fourth, feel free to download the modules to your computer or print them for your study. Click on DOWNLOAD on the Main Page. Fifth, after you study all modules and correctly answer all questions at the end of each module, you may receive a Certificate of Completion. We operate on an honor system, so you can request a certificate after your modules are graded. We trust that you will be truthful to God and will benefit yourself by faithfully completing your study of all modules prior to requesting a certificate. Your completing the modules will help to prepare you to answer God’s call to ministry. After you complete the modules, we recommend that you again review The Call to Mission module. Then pray for God’s guidance. If you are called to take the Gospel to an unreached people group but are uncertain about where God is calling you to go, you may find it helpful to study the website http://www.joshuaproject.net/.
